Gathering the most exciting, ground-breaking and entertaining moments from a breathtaking career, The Hits is the ultimate collection of Jay-Z tunes.
With a relentless energy throughout, this outstanding collection collects the many highs, with 14 years in the business encapsulated in 14 tracks. Grammy-winning single "99 Problems" is the linchpin of the release- a storming three minutes of political angst set amongst glorious beats and Rick Rubin's inspirational production. Alongside the stunning solo work, Jay-Z also has the perfect knack of attracting a top collaborator or two. Piano songstress Alicia Keys is in magnificent form on "Empire State Of The Mind", Beyonce stars on "Bonnie & Clyde", while appearances from both Rihanna and Kanye West make "Run This Town" a compelling listen. Concluding with early hit "Big Pimpin'", this jaw-dropping collection of hip-hop magic draws to a triumphant close.

I'm not massively into hip hop - but this is a great album. Well worth getting whatever the price.
This is a simple compilation of the greatest MC that has ever lived. There are so many brilliant tunes on this album. If you dont have any of his 11 number 1 albums, then this is a must buy for you if you are a hip hop fan
